Sobre Fondo Blanco
Sculpture performance
Conde Duque, Madrid 2019

The usage of primary, industrial and natural materials on this occasion explored its qualities both in its microcosm and in its macrocosm considering the five dimensions of a new post-natural landscape (distance, surface, interior, exterior and temporality) in relation to the imagination and the living (post) human spirit in the Capitalocene. I intend that my works function as agents for the process of thinking, studying and creating architecture by calling into question architectural utopias such as “The Garden Cities of To- Morrow” by Ebenezer Howard or the transcendental philosophy of the expressionist architects that made up the collective “ Crystal Chain ”and thus reflect on what these utopian thoughts can contribute or contradict / pervert in contemporary urban plans.
