enantiodromia photography Synopsis: In the 1930’s Dr. Carl Jung revived the principles of Enantiodromia, a term first coined by greek philosopher Heraclitus. He argues that wholeness can be attained by understanding that duality is actually non-duality, each working force, internal or external, is necessary for its opposite to exist. As darkness grows, light fades and so on in reverse in a continuous collaboration. This work records my pursuit to reach a photographical translation of Enantiodromia's transcendental philosophy. (2016) “One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” - Carl Jung EXHIBIt OPENED 2016 AT LA FABRICA, MADRID.
